Description

Service Restored 1/8/16, 4:54 a.m.: D2L has implemented a fix which resolves the course copy issue and users can now utilize the tool. However, D2L has advised that materials in the Course Content tool (and their associated release conditions) copied between December 24, 2015 and January 6, 2016 should be deleted and recopied to ensure no future complications. OIT will be reaching out to those impacted in a targeted message with specific instructions.

Service Update 1/7/16, 9:10 a.m.:  The Desire2Learn vendor has created a fix for the course copy issue. They will apply the fix by 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, January 10. If anything changes with the scheduled fix, an update will be issued.

Service Update 1/5/16, 6:57 p.m.: The Desire2Learn (D2L) vendor has advised that users refrain from using the course copy process. The tool has been temporarily disabled while D2L works to resolve the issue.

Issue Reported  1/5/16, 3:53 p.m.: The Desire2Learn (D2L) vendor has reported an issue with D2L's course copy process that results in content not copying completely, or in copying, losing their sort order. While the vendor works to resolve the issue, the recommended workaround is to import/export course contents and components. More information will be posted here as it becomes available.
