Clear the Web Browser Cache - Microsoft Edge

Clearing a web browser’s cache can correct problems you may have using a web browser while on the CU Boulder network or using an OIT web based program, like Canvas or Buff Portal. OIT recommends that you perform a cache clearing before using the campus network. The instructions below demonstrate how to clear Microsoft Edge.

Step

Click the Three dot settings icon then select History

Click the three dot settings menu then Clear History

Step

A new tab will open. Select appropriate categories and click the Clear now button.

*Please note: OIT Suggests selecting Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data, and Cached data and files to clear your cookies/cache sufficiently.

Step

This may take a few moments. When finished, your history will be clear. Close the new tab and sidebar.
