When you need to work from home or work remotely, the list below will help keep you connected. OIT recommends that you test your VPN connection before you have to use it for working remotely.

Communication Resources

  • Gmail and Exchange Online - CU Boulder email for students, faculty, staff, alumni & retirees
  • Course Email Rosters (recommended for instructors who need to communicate with students)
  • Exchange Distribution Lists (recommended for departments, Exchange accounts required)
  • Qualtrics Survey Tool an easy-to-use, full-featured, web-based tool for creating and conducting online surveys.
  • Campus Events Calendar displays campus events open to campus constituents or the larger campus community. Event can be submitted via an online form.
  • CU Boulder Today campus news digest that captures campus news, important announcements, campus events and the stories that inform our campus conversation.
  • Administrative E-memo for the electronic distribution of important information for the campus community. Content and audiences for the Campus E-memo System are specified by campus policy.
  • Buff Bulletin Board a listing of notices, training/seminars, jobs, campus services and events.

Connectivity

  • VPN - make a secure connection to campus services even when you’re off campus.
  • eduroam - Sign up for eduroam for a secure network connection at CU as well as other participating institutions
