Description
The SPSC Data Center firewall will undergo maintenance between 6 and 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 27. The work being done during the maintenance window is required due to an end of life cycle of the current firewall. OIT has taken extensive steps to minimize overall impact, but service disruptions may be experienced during the maintenance window to online services that are dependent on the SPSC firewall.
Impact
Zones still remaining on the legacy SPSC firewall will have a disruption of about 15 minutes during the maintenance window between 6 and 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 27. Voice, Wireless, and zones already migrated to the new firewall will not be affected. If you experience an issue after the maintenance is completed, please restart your device and try to reconnect. During the maintenance window, it’s possible that various CU online services and applications may become unavailable due to a firewall policy dependency issue(s) that were not accurately documented. The dependency issue will be investigated and resolved by the firewall migration team in OIT.
