Description
The Residence hall firewalls will undergo an upgrade between 6:30 and 7:30 a.m. on Friday, December 22. This will cause a very brief network outage for subnets behind the RES firewall in buildings listed below. The work being done during the maintenance window is required to improve performance and address known issues.
Impact
The Residence hall firewalls may experience an outage of up to 1 minute during the maintenance window. If behind a subnet on one of these firewalls, accessing the internet will not be possible during the outage in buildings listed below. Voice and Wireless networks will not be affected. If you experience an issue after the maintenance is completed, please restart your device and try to reconnect. If that does not work, contact the IT Service Center.
