Description
Campus domain controllers will be updated on Tuesday, November 7 from 5:15 - 6:15 p.m. This will only impact systems dependent upon domain controllers. This is the third of four total domain controller updates scheduled in November 2023.
Please note: This change was originally planned for Thursday, November 9.
Impact
There is no expected service impact, however, querying a domain controller before it has fully replicated after replacement could cause a failure for authentication. Since domain controllers put themselves into a maintenance state during the initial replication, only computers that have explicitly set a single domain controller should be affected.
