Description
Campus border firewall will be upgraded from 5 to 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 15. Traffic to and from the campus may experience an interruption during the maintenance window. This may result in the need to reconnect to services if they do not automatically reconnect. This upgrade is necessary to improve performance and address known bugs.
Impact
During the maintenance window, 5 to 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 15, OIT will reboot the backup Border Firewall to restore redundancy. After the reboot, network traffic to and from the campus may experience an interruption if additional maintenance is required. On-campus network traffic between on-campus machines should not be affected by this maintenance.
