Description
The Engineering firewalls will undergo an upgrade between 6:00 and 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 25. This will cause a network outage for subnets behind the ENGR/ENGR2/PHYS for up to 30 minutes in buildings listed below. The work being done during the maintenance window is required to improve performance and address known issues. Please note: The date of this change was originally May 18.
Impact
The Engineering Firewall, which includes the ENGR, ENGR2, and PHYS firewalls, will experience an outage of up to 30 minutes during the maintenance window. If behind a subnet on one of these firewalls, accessing the internet will not be possible during the outage in buildings listed below. Voice and Wireless networks will not be affected. If you experience an issue after the maintenance is completed, please restart your device and try to reconnect. If that does not work, contact the IT Service Center.
