Step 1

Open a browser and go to the Mac configuration start page.

*Note: Use CU Secure, CU Guest or another network to download the app and sign in for the first time. eduroam will fail or show as out of range if you're not on campus while trying to connect.

Step 2

Click the JoinNow button.

Step 3

The software will download.

Step 4

When the download is complete, open the folder of the downloaded file and double-click the WiFi_JoinNow_Wrapper.dmg icon.

Step 5

In the window that appears, double-click the SecureW2 WiFi_JoinNow_Wrapper icon to begin the installation.

Step 6

An alert will appear asking you to confirm that you want to open the file. Click the Open button.

Step 7

Enter your IdentiKeyUsername@colorado.edu and IdentiKey password, then click Next.

Step 8

A window will appear and ask you to enter your computer's Username and Password. Enter your credentials, then click the OK button.

*Note: This requires administrator rights on your computer. If you have a managed computer, contact your DDS technician or IT practitioner for assistance.

Step 9

Go to System Settings/Preferences > Privacy & Security > Profiles and double-click on the University of Colorado Boulder eduroam profile.

Step 10

A window will appear asking you to confirm that you want to install the profile. Click Install...

Step 11

An alert will appear asking you to confirm again that you want to install the profile. Click Install.

Step 12

A window will appear asking you to allow the changes. Verify your credentials using your Touch ID or computer password.

Step 13

The installation will complete. When finished, click Done.

Step 14

You should now be connected to the eduroam secure wireless network.

If you are not connected, select eduroam from your available Wi-Fi networks.
