Thank You for Making the Exchange Online Migration a Success

Over the summer, the campus was engaged in a migration of all employee email accounts from the campus-based Microsoft Exchange 2007 email service to the cloud-based Microsoft Office 365 Exchange Online service. The migration of more than 16,000 accounts completed in early September this year in an aggressive timeframe. And for this, we want to thank you.

Email migrations are never a simple feat, there are many moving parts, and in many cases, account owners must reconfigure their email programs to work with the new service. Your cooperation and participation were key to the success of the project. The project team, and the entire OIT staff, thank you.

There are many new features in Exchange Online and many compatible email programs that we have documented on the Exchange Online service page.
