A Better Way to Print Is Coming

Last Updated: 08/18/2017

A new way of printing is coming to the CU Boulder campus. Students told us they wanted a printing service that is more reliable, with a modern interface and more ways to print. So before the start of the fall 2017 semester, wepa Cloud Campus Printing kiosks will replace the existing student print stations across campus. This system will make it easier to print from computer labs, mobile devices, cloud documents, and USB drives.

How to Print

wepa allows you to upload documents in a number of convenient and easy-to-use methods including:

wepa Cloud Campus Printing highlights:

  • wepa is 100 percent cloud based.
  • Modern & intuitive kiosks.

  • Highly reliable.

Maybe the best news of all is that the cost per print for letter size paper has been lowered!

Black & White Double-Sided: $0.15

Color Single-Sided: $0.45

Color Double-Sided: $0.89

How to Pay

Release documents from any kiosk by paying with:

  • Wepa account – All full-time students will receive a $5 print credit for the fall 2017 semester. Upload additional funds at any wepa kiosk or wepa's website using a credit or debit card.
  • Credit/debit card – Securely pay for prints directly with a debit or credit card. (Please note: These transactions will incur an additional $0.40 per print job service fee, imposed by financial institutions. Avoid this fee by using your credit/debit card to load a minimum of $5 into your wepa account instead and then selecting “wepa account” as your method of payment.)
  • Coming soon! Campus Cash payments with your Buff OneCard or a Guest Card.

Plan accordingly!

From Tuesday, August 15 - Thursday, August 17 teams will be installing the new kiosks. Printing will be available throughout the week; however, over the span of those three days some locations may have wepa kiosks and others will have Xerox printers. We are hopeful this transition will cause minimal disruption since it’s between the summer and fall semester. On Friday, August 18 all student printing will be via wepa kiosks.
