Canvas - Hide and Unhide Final Grades

In Canvas, final grades appear in the total grade column in your gradebook. The total grade is visible to students by default and it appears on their grades summary page. This tutorial describes how to hide and unhide this information.

Click Settings on your course navigation bar.

Ensure that you are on the Course Details tab.

Step

Scroll to the bottom of the page. Click more options.

Check the Hide totals in student grade summary checkbox to hide the total grades column from students, so that it doesn’t appear on their grade summary page.

Alternatively, uncheck the box to unhide to make the total grades column visible to students.
