Microsoft Office editions available at CU Boulder
- Microsoft 365 Online: Online version of Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and OneNote.
- Microsoft 365 Online plus desktop apps: Includes Microsoft 365 Online plus the desktop apps for Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and OneNote.
- Microsoft 365 desktop apps for shared devices: The Microsoft 365 desktop apps licensed specifically for shared devices. This product may be used on devices located in computer labs or libraries, or with shared team or kiosk devices.
- Office Professional: The Office Professional version of Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher and Access. Office Professional uses an older type of license that generally must be purchased separately. Therefore, OIT recommends Microsoft 365 Online plus desktop apps, which is included in most of the Microsoft licenses issued to employees and students.
