Service Restored: OIT's Networking team has identified the issue causing performance issues with both UCB Wireless and the Wired Network in multiple buildings on campus and has implemented a solution. Network performance in the listed buildings has returned to normal and the issue is resolved.
Service Issue Updated: OIT's Networking team has identified a possible root cause and made a minor change to all buildings listed below. We continue to monitor the situation and are in communication with the vendor. OIT is in the early stages of diagnosing the issue and will continue to post updates to this alert as we learn more.
Service Issue Updated: OIT is aware of network performance issues in additional buildings and is working to improve the service. Current buildings with known issues include:
- Norlin
- MUEN
- VAC
- EKLC
- CIRES
- RGNT
- MATH
- 1135 Broadway
Service Issue Reported: OIT is aware of network performance issues with both UCB Wireless and the Wired Network in Norlin Library. We have engaged our vendor and are working to improve the network performance in this building. We do not have an estimated time to resolution at this time.
