Description
The firewalls in several buildings will undergo an upgrade between 6:00 and 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 8. This will cause a network outage for subnets behind the Engineering, Physics, Humanities, Economics, Regent and Muenzinger firewalls for up to 30 minutes in buildings listed below. The work being done during the maintenance window is required to improve performance and address known issues.
Impact
The Firewalls in Engineering, Physics, Humanities, Economics, Regent and Muenzinger will experience an outage of up to 30 minutes during the maintenance window. If behind a subnet on one of these firewalls, accessing the internet will not be possible during the outage in buildings listed below. Voice and Wireless networks will not be affected. If you experience an issue after the maintenance is completed, please restart your device and try to reconnect. If that does not work, contact the IT Service Center.
