Service Restored 2/12/15 at 8:00 p.m.: All services hosted at the HPCF are back to normal operation.
Service Issue Update 2/12/15 at 1:24 p.m.: The power outage yesterday was due to a failure at the Xcel Boulder Terminal station. After repairs, a switching operation was performed today which resulted in another outage.
Service Issue Update 2/12/15 at 11:14 a.m.: Another electrical outage occured at the High Performance Computing Facility (HPCF) today, which houses Janus and the Lustre scratch file system. Only research computing services hosted at the HPCF are impacted. OIT is working on the issue.
Service Issue Reported 2/11/15 at 7:54 a.m.: An electrical outage occured at the High Performance Computing Facility (HPCF), which houses Janus and the Lustre scratch file system, this morning. Most services hosted from this facilty were impacted, including the network infrastructure. OIT is working on the issue and more information will be posted here as it becomes available.
