Description
Recent changes in the security of SSL Certificates issued by Comodo, the campus SSL certificate provider, require that all SSL certificates that do not meet the revised standards are re-issued before January 1, 2015. For sites without new certificates, visitors will receive warning notices stating there is a problem with the website’s security certificate and will engage in insecure click-through behaviors.
Sometime between Wednesday, December 17 at 10:00 a.m. and Wednesday, December 31 at 5:00 p.m. OIT will be issuing certificate renewals. The impact should be minimal. Users may experience a momentary outage on CU hosted websites.
