Qualtrics - Offline Survey Application Setup

Qualtrics Offline Surveys is an application available for iOS and Android that allows you to administer surveys on your mobile device without an Internet connection. Responses can be collected in the field on your mobile device, and then uploaded back into Qualtrics as soon as you have an Internet connection.

Step 1

Log in to your Qualtrics account (in a web browser).

Step 2

Open your account menu in the top right corner and select Account Settings.

Step 3

Locate the Recent Logins section of the page, then copy your User ID from any row in the User column. 

*Note: Paste this user ID in a note or email message to use in later setup steps.

Step 4

Click the Qualtrics ID button.

Step 5

If you don’t yet have an API token, click Generate Token.

Step 6

Copy your Token (the string of letters and numbers next to the word “Token”).

Step 7

Open the Qualtrics Offline Surveys app on your device. If not already within Settings, tap the cog symbol on the upper right hand corner of the app to open the Settings screen.

Step 8

Tap the user icon four times to view hidden fields.

Step 9

  • Paste the User information you copied in step 3 in the Username field.
  • Paste the Token information you copied in step 6 in the API Token field.

*Note: You do not need to enter information in any of the other fields.

Step 10

Click the Save button; you will now be signed in.
