Description

Service Restored: The issue that caused slowness for some specifically configured Outlook clients had been resolved. Exchange service performance had returned to normal.

Service Issue Reported: OIT is investigating slow Microsoft Exchange performance that appears to be affecting some account owners with the following Microsoft Outlook client configuration: configured to use Outlook Anywhere (RPC over HTTPS) as the communication protocol, and caching disabled. This setup seems to affect launching Outlook, changing between foldier views and moving messages between folders. OIT’s Messaging and Calendaring and Network Operations teams are investigating the source of the latency and more information will be reported here as it becomes available.
