The Office of Information Technology (OIT) understands that wireless service is critically important to nearly everyone on campus and is constantly working on ways to improve this service while minimizing impacts.
With that in mind, OIT will perform updates over the next two weeks to the residence halls and campus wireless network. These updates are necessary to expand and maintain the wireless network. While work is being performed, there will be a 15-20 minute wireless network outage (UCB Wireless, UCB Guest, eduroam and other private SSID's). The wired network will remain available.
