Proctorio - Post-Exam Review

After your students take a Canvas quiz with Proctorio enabled, you will need to review the results to determine if exam rules were violated. This tutorial will walk you through the review process.

Navigate to the Quizzes area of your Canvas course and click the name of the quiz you wish to review

On the right, click View Proctorio Gradebook when it appears. If this option does not appear, ensure you are using Google Chrome and have the Proctorio extension installed

Click the Proctorio Settings tab.

Step

In this screen, you can determine the logic that Proctorio will use to flag students for potential cheating.

Select the Recommended preset or otherwise choose the options that best fit your needs.

Once you’ve finished choosing settings, click the Proctorio Gradebook tab.

For any students that have a high Suspicion Level, click that student’s name to view their recording.

The recording of the student will be on the left, with the recording of their screen on the right. Play, pause, and move around the recording using the video controls.

Check with your department on its procedures if you believe a student has violated the exam rules. You can get more information and report an incident to Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution or email honor@colorado.edu.
