Update 4:30 p.m. on Friday, June 5: OIT is continuing to work on this issue to find a workaround and/or resolution. We will post another update by Tuesday, June 9.
Service Issue Reported at 2:43 p.m. on June 3, 2026: OIT is aware that users of the campus-recommended Linux VPN client, running Ubuntu 24.04 and newer versions, are currently unable to log in to the VPN and see a "stale request" error, following the Microsoft MFA expansion.
OIT’s Identity & Access Management team is investigating this issue along with the Network Engineering & Operations team, and we will update this alert as more information becomes available.
