Buff Techs Pro Changing Update Process for PGP software

Users supported by Buff Techs Pro (BTP) that utilize Symantec Encryption Desktop (PGP) will notice a slight change to software updates starting on Wednesday, Oct. 7.

Instead of requiring proactive downloads from the software center, updates will be pushed automatically to Symantec users. BTP will test new updates for approximately a month before pushing updates to computers. This new process will make it simpler to ensure you have the latest version of Symantec on your computer and resolve reported issues for users collaborating with others on different versions of the software.
