Overview

GitHub is a website and cloud-based code hosting platform service that enables developers to store and manage code, track and control changes to their code, and more. 

GitHub Enterprise 

OIT's Platform Engineering team manages an instance of GitHub Enterprise available to all University of Colorado campuses. This allows developers throughout the CU System to use the same instance of GitHub to more easily collaborate within their departments, campuses, or the system as whole. The Platform Engineering team has subject matter experts in both managing systems as well as developing software and thus are well equipped to help your team use GitHub.

Cost

CU Boulder's instance of GitHub Enterprise is provided at no cost to campus affiliates at all four Universoty of Colorado campuses, subject to the service license limitations.
