GitHub Enterprise
OIT's Platform Engineering team manages an instance of GitHub Enterprise available to all University of Colorado campuses. This allows developers throughout the CU System to use the same instance of GitHub to more easily collaborate within their departments, campuses, or the system as whole. The Platform Engineering team has subject matter experts in both managing systems as well as developing software and thus are well equipped to help your team use GitHub.

Cost
CU Boulder's instance of GitHub Enterprise is provided at no cost to campus affiliates at all four Universoty of Colorado campuses, subject to the service license limitations.
Access GitHub
Follow these instructions to access University of Colorado Boulder’s GitHub Enterprise organization:
- Log in to your account or if you don't have one, create a new account on GitHub. Remain logged in to your GitHub account as you continue through the following steps.
- Once signed in to your GitHub account, you need to authenticate using your IdentiKey credentials to the University of Colorado Boulder’s SSO.
- Once you have associated your University of Colorado Boulder IdentiKey with your GitHub username, you will be able to create/view teams and repositories in the University of Colorado Boulder GitHub Enterprise organization.
- Finally, you should associate any existing GitHub Tokens or SSH Keys with the University of Colorado Boulder GitHub organization. To do this follow the instructions for SSH keys or Personal Access Tokens.
