eduroam - Windows Setup and Connect

The following documentation shows the process of getting your Windows device setup to connect to the eduroam secure wireless network. The screenshots below are taken from Windows 10, but the process should be similar for older supported versions of Windows and Windows 11.

*Note: To install the needed software, administrator privileges are required.

Step

Open a browser and go to the Windows configuration start page (https://cloud.securew2.com/public/41406/eduroam/).

*Note: Use UCB Wireless, Guest wireless, or another network to download and first sign in to this app. Also be aware that eduroam will fail or show out of range if you’re not on campus while trying to connect.

Step

Click the JoinNow button. 

*Note: This screen will reflect the version of Windows you are currently running on your computer.

The software will download.

Step

When the download is complete, open the downloaded file from the download notification or your downloads folder.

*Note: You will likely be prompted to verify that you wish to run the file. You need admin privileges to do so, please contact your DDS technician for assistance if you do not have these privileges. 

Step

Type your IdentiKeyUsername@colorado.edu and your IdentiKey password in the Identikey username and Enter your password fields, then click Next.

Step

The installation will complete. When finished click Done.

Step

You will now be connected to the eduroam secure wireless network.

If you are not connected, select eduroam from your available Wi-Fi networks.
