Step 1
Install the Cisco Secure Client from the Google Play Store .
*Note: If you are currently using AnyConnect for another VPN, you do not need to reinstall the application. You only need to add the new profile, as shown in the remaining steps.
Step 2
Open the Cisco Secure Client app.
Step 3
Tap Add New VPN Connection.
Step 4
Tap Description.
Step 5
Enter in a name for your connection, then tap Done.
Step 6
Tap Server Address.
Step 7
Enter vpn.colorado.edu then tap OK.
*Note: Advanced users and system administrators should enter vpn.colorado.edu/limited in this field. Custom VPNs in the format of vpn.colorado.edu with /thecustomaddress appended should also be entered in this field, if applicable.
Step 8
Tap Done.
Step 9
Tap the connection you created in the Choose a connection… area.
Step 10
Enter your IdentiKey username and password, then tap OK.
Step 11
Authenticate with Duo multi-factor authentication to finish logging in to VPN. Learn more about Duo MFA.
Step 12
Once you enter your credentials, a new connection will appear, labeled UCB VPN. This is the connection that you need to use. Delete the connection with the name you entered in step 5.
Step 13
Tap UCB VPN and you will be connected to the CU Boulder VPN service.
*Note: Connect to the VPN in the future by tapping this UCB VPN connection.
