Duo multi-factor authentication - Enroll and set up a security key

Follow these instructions to setup a security key like a Yubikey to your Duo Multi-factor authentication account. For easiest set up, we recommend enrolling with the Duo Mobile app or a phone number before enrolling a security key.

Please note: The university does not provide Yubikeys. If you choose this method of authentication, it is your responsibility to purchase, configure, and keep track of your token. If need to set up and register your Yubikey, follow our Register a Yubikey using OTP tutorial.
