Service Maintenance Scheduled: Emergency Grouper Syncing Issues Patch

Description

Updated 1:30 p.m. 3/6/2026: The Grouper access management service, accessed at mygroups.colorado.edu, will undergo an emergency upgrade from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 6. This downtime is necessary to patch Grouper membership sync issues.

Impact

Synchronization between Grouper and other services (e.g. Entra, Active Directory, Enterprise Database) will be paused during the maintenance window, however, users will still be able to access the service and manage groups during the patching process.


Service Issue Reported at 11:45 AM on 3/6/2026: OIT is aware of membership sync issues between Grouper to AD and Azure. We are currently investigating the issue.
