Description
The campuswide rollout of CU Secure and CU Guest Wi-Fi networks has begun. It should conclude by 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 19, if not earlier. This maintenance is required to get the new networks part of the Wi-Fi improvement project online. Updates will be posted in this Service Alert.
Impact
During the maintenance window, buildings that are switched to the new networks may be without Wi-Fi for up to an hour. Users can connect to a wired network or wait until the new networks are available. Learn more about this change and how to make sure your device is registered.
After the change, users must connect to the CU Secure or CU Guest Wi-Fi networks. UCB Wireless and UCB Guest will no longer be available.
