Aja Kimsey (she/her) joined OIT’s User Experience team in May 2025 as a Student Assistant UX Writer. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Creative Technology and Design with a minor in Business at CU Boulder and is expected to graduate in May 2027.
Aja’s interest in UX grew from her passion for blending creativity with practical solutions to meet user needs. Through her coursework and personal projects, she has explored how thoughtful, accessible content can make digital tools more intuitive and inclusive. She is excited to support the OIT UX Team in creating user-centered language that helps the CU community better navigate online systems and services.
Outside of the classroom and office, Aja leads the Colorado Club Dance Team as Captain, is a member of the Women of Aeronautics and Astronautics society, and enjoys hammocking and hiking with her friends.
