Microsoft 365 - Outlook for Mac Configuration

The following instructions step through the process of configuring your Microsoft 365 Exchange Online account using modern authentication.

Step

Open the main Outlook menu and select Preferences. 

Step

Select Accounts. 

Step

Click the + button, then select New Account.

Step

Enter your IdentiKeyUsername@colorado.edu (please note: Not first.last@colorado.edu).

Step

Enter your IdentiKey password and click Sign in. 

Step

If you have already enrolled in Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), you may be prompted to verify your identity via phone, text or the Microsoft Authenticator app to complete logging in. Register/edit your preferences with Microsoft Authenticator app.

Step

After successful log in, your account will be configured and begin synching.
