Microsoft 365 - Download Applications

Use the following documentation to learn how to navigate and download software from within the Microsoft 365 portal.

*Note: You can also go directly to Microsoft's My Account portal to install available applications.

Step 1

Sign in to the Microsoft 365 portal using your IdentiKeyUsername@colorado.edu and IdentiKey password.

Sign in to the Microsoft 365 portal using your IdentiKeyUsername@colorado.edu and IdentiKey password.

Step 2

Click the Take me to my Microsoft 365 Apps button.

Click the "Take me to my Microsoft 365 Apps" button.

Step 3

In the left-hand navigation panel, select Apps.

Step 4

On the upper right, click the Install apps button.

On the upper right, click the "Install apps" button.

Step 5

Select Microsoft 365 apps from the drop-down. 

*Note: If you do not see the Microsoft 365 apps option, you most likely do not have access to the desktop version of the Microsoft 365 suite.

Select Microsoft 365 apps from the drop-down.

Step 6

You'll be redirected to Microsoft's My Account portal. Confirm your language and version settings, then click Install Office. The installer will begin downloading.

On the next page, confirm your language and version settings, then click "Install Office."
