Canvas - Complete a WeVideo Interactive Video in Canvas

This tutorial shows learners how to complete a WeVideo interactive video directly in Canvas courses. Once finished with an interactive video, the grade will show up automatically in their Canvas gradebook.

Step 1

Log in to Canvas and go to the course where the interactive video is located. Select Assignments from the left sidebar, then select the assignment that includes the interactive video.

Click the play button on the interactive video to begin.

On the Assignments page, click on the interactive video to play it.

Step 2

As questions are posed, select your answer and click Submit.

Select the radio button for your chosen answer, then click "Submit."

Step 3

After answering a question, you will receive feedback. Select Continue and repeat for all following questions that may appear during the interactive video.

A message will indicate whether your submitted response was correct and may indicate the points earned of those possible. Click "Continue" to proceed.

Step 4

At the end of the interactive video, you will see a screen that gives your score. Do not close this window until you see an "Interactive Video Complete" notification.

Whether you are able to see your grade depends on the way the instructor configured the assignment. Contact your instructor for more information.

After you complete the interactive video, the page will display a 100% completion graphic and a "Complete!" message. Once an "Interactive Video Complete" notification appears in the upper right corner, you can close the window.
