Step 1
Go to your Canvas course and open the Assignments section. Click +Assignment on the upper right corner of the screen to create a new assignment.

Change the Submission Type to External Tool, then click Find.

Find WeVideo in the list and choose Select.
Step 4
In the pop-up window, choose Set Link.
Step 5
Use the search bar to find your video, or find it in your list. Click the Canvas icon next to the video to set the link.
Step 6
Click Link.
Step 7
You can set a due date in WeVideo to match the due date in Canvas, or just leave it blank. Leave the Learner Experience type as Self Paced, then click Set Link.
Step 8
You will be returned to Canvas where you can set the due date in Canvas, edit the assignment title, set the due date and point value, and the number of permitted attempts.
Don't forget to save and publish your assignment.
