Free SAS Software

OIT is temporarily providing SAS software licenses free of charge to CU students, instructors, and researchers affected by the COVID-19 situation at no cost until normal campus operations resume. To order a license, please visit OIT’s Order Software page and provide the name of the course or research project that requires the software.

SAS is a widely-used statistical software product used for analyzing and modeling data. SAS 9.4 is available for Windows and for Linux (SAS is not available for macOS).

In addition to the complete SAS Base product, the CU license includes all of SAS Foundation and dozens of other SAS products. (A smaller, free product version, SAS University Edition, is available online, but has several limitations.)

The fee for an SAS license for Windows and Linux workstations, valid through June 30, is $65.
