Informed by her background in teaching and instructional design, Jessica is passionate about active learning and critical digital pedagogy and is excited to support these approaches through her work with the Academic Technology Initiatives team. Prior to joining CU, she worked as a customer experience manager for an ed tech start-up and, before that, as a learning designer for the Colorado Community College System. She holds an MA in Learning Design and Technology from University of Colorado Denver and a PhD in English from Indiana University Bloomington. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, writing, and exploring Colorado with family and friends.
