Overview
Jira Software is part of a family of products from Atlassian designed to help teams of all types manage work. Jira is a work management tool for all kinds of use cases, from requirements and test case management to agile software development and project management. Jira is a project planning and issue tracking system developed by Atlassian. Jira is primarily used for software development tasks, bug tracking, issue tracking and project management.
OIT Jira Instance
CU Boulder OIT manages an on-premise instance of Jira Server. This application server supports application development, project management and issue tracking for OIT staff and campus affiliates. The Project Management Office in coordination with technical administration resources in Service Engineering manage this instance and provide system administration, application administration, and customer support.

Jira user accounts are provided at no cost to CU Boulder campus staff affiliates subject to the Jira service license limitations
Who can get it
Jira user accounts are provided at no cost to OIT staff and select IT Practitioners. University staff can send a request to oithelp@colorado.edu to get started.
