eduroam - Windows Setup

The following documentation shows the process of getting your Windows device set up to connect to the eduroam secure wireless network. The screenshots below were taken from Windows 10, but the process should be similar for Windows 11 and older supported versions of Windows.

*Note: Administrator privileges are required to install the software.

Step 1

Open a browser and go to the Windows configuration start page (https://cloud.securew2.com/public/41406/eduroam/).

*Note: Use UCB Wireless, UCB Guest or another network to download the app and sign in for the first time. eduroam will fail or show as out of range if you're not on campus while trying to connect.

Step 2

Click the JoinNow button. 

*Note: This screen will reflect the version of Windows you are currently running on your computer.

Step 3

The software will download.

Step 4

When the download is complete, open the downloaded file from the download notification or your downloads folder.

*Note: You will likely be prompted to verify that you want to run the file. If you don't have administrator privileges, please contact your DDS technician for assistance. 

Step 5

Enter your (link sends email)IdentiKeyUsername@colorado.edu and IdentiKey password, then click Next.

Step 6

The installation will complete. When finished, click Done.

Step 7

You should now be connected to the eduroam secure wireless network.

If you are not connected, select eduroam from your available Wi-Fi networks.
