Service Restored at 11:15 AM on 4/4/2024: The issue impacting UCB Wireless has been resolved. If you continue to encounter issues, OIT recommends restarting your device and trying again. If you continue to experience problems after the restart, please contact the ITSC via oithelp@colorado.edu or 303-735-4357. You can also contact our Buff Techs Buff Techs Desktop Support | Office of Information Technology (colorado.edu) for onsite remediation.

This morning, several customers contacted the Office of Information Technology (OIT), reporting that they were unable to connect to the "UCB Wireless" SSID. Upon investigation, it was discovered that the authentication system responsible for maintaining the customer database for the wireless network was experiencing sync issues. During this time, we also experienced some brief difficulties in connecting to "UCB Guest," as most customers switched their connection during the incident. We believe both issues have been resolved, and OIT is currently working with our vendor's support team to determine the root cause of the database error.

Service Issue Reported at 8:40 AM on 4/4/2024: OIT Is aware of an issue impacting UCB Wireless. Users are currently reporting they are unable to connect to UCB Wireless or UCB Guest.
