Student Printing and Scanning

Overview

Student Printing and Scanning is a campus-wide initiative that was implemented in response to increasing waste/environmental concerns and escalating costs. There is a fee associated with printing, and charged per page.

Read below to learn about how to print in OIT labs.

Features

  • Black and white and color printing in OIT computing labs
  • Print release station that queues your print job and is only released when you swipe your Buff OneCard
  • Remote printing is availabe from your own computer in your residence hall, office, or over the wireless network. The job will be secured in the print-release station for one hour.

Benefits

  • Use OIT printers to save money on your own printer, ink, and paper.

Cost

The cost associated with printing is as follows:

  • B&W: First side of print $.10/second side of same sheet $0.09
  • Color: $0.50/page

Students receive a set amount each semester in print quota.

Our system uses the Buff OneCard Campus Cash system.
