Linux Server Support

OIT does not provide support for Linux servers. If you need assistance with Linux server administration, configuration, troubleshooting, or maintenance, we recommend contacting a third-party vendor that specializes in Linux support. OIT’s recommended vendor is Crafty Penguins, a provider of for-fee support of Linux servers. OIT has worked with Crafty Penguins to ensure they are familiar with the CU Boulder environment, including campus secure computing standard requirements. Crafty Penguins administrators are also required to take similar training to campus IT professionals including FERPA training allowing them to work with systems containing public, confidential, and highly confidential data. Please note Crafty Penguins cannot work on systems containing Export-Controlled Information (EAR) or International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) data. You can find more information about their services and contact details on their website.
