The following instructions step through the process of reconfiguring Outlook 2010 and Outlook 2013 after being migrated from Exchange 2007 to Office 365's Exchange Online service.
Upon first opening Outlook after migration, your mailbox will likely alternate between Trying to connect and Disconnected.
Eventually an error message will appear notifying you of a change by the Microsoft Exchange administrator and the need to restart Outlook. Click OK when this message appears.
Close and re-open Outlook, allowing for sufficient time for the program to completely close.
*Note: If prompted for credentials prior to closing Outlook, click Cancel as you will be prompted again after reopening.
Once Outlook re-opens, you will be prompted to enter your credentials. Enter your CULoginName@colorado.edu and IdentiKey password in the corresponding fields, then click OK.
*Note: If you wish to avoid re-entering credentials in the future, check the Remember my credentials box.
Once logged in you may be prompted to close and re-open Outlook once again (as shown in step 2). Be sure to do so, as Outlook may require additional reconfiguration. After re-opening Outlook your mailbox should be reconfigured.
*Note: If prompted to allow autodiscover to configure settings, click Allow.
