This tutorial is operating system independent.


The following instructions step through the process of configuring your Office 365 Exchange Online account with Apple Mail for Mac OS X 10.7 - 10.8.

Step 1

Open Apple Mail.

*Note: If this is your first time opening Mail, go to step 4.

Step 2

From the Mail menu, select Preferences.

Step 3

Click the + button.

Step 4

Enter a display name for your account in the Full Name field.

Step 5

  1. For the Email address field, enter your  address and in the password field, enter your IdentiKey password .
  2. Select Continue.


Step 6

Select Exchange from the Account Type list, if not already selected.

Step 7

In the Incoming Mail Server field, enter

Step 8

For the User Name field, enter your and then IdentiKey password in the Password field. When completed click, Continue.

Step 9

Review the account details, then click Create.

Step 10

Your account will be configured and will begin synching mail.
