Office 365 - Android 4.x and earlier Exchange Reconfigure

Overview

The following instructions step through the process of reconfiguring Android 4.x and earlier after being migrated from Exchange 2007 to Office 365's Exchange Online service. This process involves deleting and setting up the account again with the correct settings.

Step 1

Remove Account

Go to Settings.

Step 2

Tap Corporate (also listed as Work or Exchange depending on version) located in Accounts section.

Step 3

Tap your account name.

Step 4

Tap the menu icon, then tap Remove account.

Step 5

You will be prompted to confirm the account removal. Tap Remove account.

Step 6

Add Account

Go to Settings.

Step 7

Tap Add account located in Accounts section.

Step 8

Tap Corporate (also Work or Exchange depending on version).

Step 9

Enter your CULoginName@colorado.edu and IdentiKey password in corresponding fields.

Step 10

Tap Next.

Step 11

Tap Exchange, if prompted to choose account type.

Step 12

In the Server field, enter outlook.office365.com.

Step 13

Tap Next.

Step 14

You may be prompted with a security message. Tap Ok.

Step 15

Review the Account settings, then tap Next.

Step 16

Enter a name for your Account, then tap Next.

Step 17

Tap Activate and your account will be setup.
