Gmail - Configure Android

This tutorial demonstrates how to configure an Android device for CU Boulder's Gmail.

*Note: Due to the numerous variations of Android phones, the following instructions may vary based on the device manufacturer and Android OS version.

Step

Install the Gmail app from the Google Play Store then launch it.

Step

In the top right, tap your profile picture/icon.

Step

Tap Add another account.

Step

Tap Google.

Step

Enter your IdentiKeyUsername@colorado.edu address in the email field (not first.last@colorado.edu), then tap Next.

Step

Enter your IdentiKey password, then tap Next.

Step

Read the terms of service and tap I agree.

Step

Go back to your Home Screen or apps launcher and tap Settings.

Step

Scroll down and tap Accounts.

Step

Select your CU Gmail account.

Step

Review the options and select the services you would like synced to your device.

Step

Your account will be configured and can be accessed from the Gmail application.
