D2L - Request Course Changes

This tutorial is operating system independent.

Overview

Instructors can request changes to a course, including combining sections and adding participants, at any time after creation during the current term. Use the D2L - Quick Create Course tutorial to learn how to create courses in D2L.

Step 1

Log in to MyCUInfo and select the course you would like to change in D2L.

*Note: Use the Term dropdown menu to change the semester you see.

Step 2

From the Course Specific Tools, select View/Change Desire2Learn Course.

Step 3

A window will pop up showing the details of your course. Select Request Changes.

Step 4

Fill in the form with the changes you are requesting.

  • Combine Sections by selecting the check boxes next to other courses you'd like to combine with the current course.
  • Add Participants by filling in their Identikey or email and use the Choose Access Level dropdown menu to select their role. 

Select Submit when finished. 

Step 5

You will see a confirmation of the Course Change Request, which will be made within 2 business days. Click Back to Portal to return to MyCUInfo.
