Overview

Once a Gradebook has been downloaded, it is strongly recommended that it is assigned a password for protection. This document shows how to set a password for Office 2008 on a Macintosh computer.

Step 1

Select Save As from the file menu.

Step 2

Click on the Options... button.

Step 3

Enter a password in the Password to Open field and click OK.

Step 4

Re-enter the password to verify.

Step 5

Next, click Save.

Step 6

To delete files so that they cannot be recovered choose Finder then Secure Empty Trash.
