System Center Endpoint Protection for Mac has replaced Sophos for Faculty Staff and Students using university-owned computers.
*Please Note: Microsoft has not yet released a version of SCEP for Mac which is officially compatible with macOS 10.14 Mojave which was released on 09/24/2018. From OIT’s testing since the release, however, the current version of System Center Endpoint Protection runs successfully on the newest version of macOS, as long as the user grants the necessary system permissions for the application to run. See the the instructions specific to 10.14 in the SCEP for Mac installation guide.
System Center Endpoint Protection for Mac provides antivirus and antispyware protection for CU Boulder through the Microsoft software campus EES agreement.
Faculty, Staff, and student staff using university-owned computers.
Before downloading and installing System Center Endpoint Protection for Mac, you must first uninstall other antivirus software you may have on your Mac. Here are instructions for uninstalling former university-recommended antivirus software:
