ESET Endpoint Antivirus has replaced Microsoft System Center Endpoint Protection for Faculty Staff and Students using university-owned Mac computers running an Apple-supported version of macOS (currently, macOS versions 10.12 Sierra, 10.13 High Sierra, and 10.14 Mojave).
*Please Note: If you installed ESET Endpoint Antivirus version 6.7.500.0 when the transition to this product was first announced, we recommend that you download and install version 6.7.600.0 which is now available on the OIT Site, as this new version includes important stability and performance fixes.
Microsoft announced in November 2018 that it was discontinuing support for System Center Endpoint protection for Mac on December 31, 2018. As a result, OIT is transitioning to ESET Endpoint Antivirus as the recommended antivirus software for university-owned Mac computers.
ESET Endpoint Antivirus provides antivirus and antispyware protection for CU Boulder for university-owned Mac systems running a supported version of macOS through the Microsoft software campus EES agreement.
