If you need to deploy Forefront Client Security in a managed environment, you can use the .msi installers that OIT provides through the Microsoft Software Campus Agreement website (IdentiKey required). No product key required.

More information to be provided at a later date. Please note: Microsoft Client Security Management Console is not recommended, as confirmed by Microsoft, the fall update for Forefront Software will not run on this management console.
OIT advises Linux administrators to use file protection based on the functionality of the system. If you are running a file server that hosts files that can be executed on a Windows system, use antivirus protection from ClamAV. Host-based intrusion detection (HIDS) is advised for system that run internet facing services.
